

| Jewels of the Earth is a specialty baking company run by vegans. Our clientele includes people who are allergic to eggs and dairy, very common allergens, vegans and vegetarians as well as those seeking great tasting cholesterol, trans fat and animal product free baked goods. All of our products are completely animal free, guaranteed. They are baked in a vegan kitchen so there can be no contamination from equipment used for dairy or egg products. We began as a small company that supplied cakes for private parties. We have grown to the point that we are now supplying vegetarian restaurants in the New York City and surrounding area. We have recently established a web site and have begun to ship quality vegan baked goods around the country. Our owner and executive pastry chef, Carol Sobczak, has 13 years experience with vegan cooking and baking. She has been a practicing vegetarian for that time and vegan for the last 10 years. Veganism, animal rights and cooking are her passions. Finding great tasting and satisfying desserts is simply a natural outcome to the integration of those loves. We have a wide variety of cakes, muffins, brownies and tarts, including our most requested chocolate ganache cake.
